One of My Favorite Neighbors

I was literally in the middle of a portrait session the other day, and my neighbor showed up for a peek. He usually walks right across my patio, a few feet from the house. I only had time to swivel around...no time to change my lens, but I shot him anyway. He has been visiting a lot lately. I think he is really hungry. I hope he is okay. This winter has been so harsh...

 

 

The Beauty of "Gray Hair"

Coco is nine years old. What you don't know is that she didn't always have four white whiskers on her right cheek. She was an all black cat...every bit of her. The white whiskers have only appeared in the last year. She's even more beautiful now with her "gray hair", don't you think?

Super Market Tulips

It snowed again today. Needless to say, I am clinging to my tulips from KIng Kullen! Turns out they have a great selection of flowers and plants! Who knew? So don't be snobby and go explore the green aisle at your nearest grocery store! You may be pleasantly surprised.

My Sweet Squirrel

My sweet squirrel is back. Remember him from Death-Defying FEET? Hopefully he's getting a boost of vitamin C from eating the rose hips from my rosebush pictured in Tudie's Roses.

He is perched on a snow-covered boxwood bush. Lucky for him the snow is frozen solid. It's the perfect thing for reaching snacks. You have to admire his gymnastic abilities...

I know squirrels have a bad reputation, but you have to admit. He is a cutie pie! And he loves to stare into my lens!

I am definitely not a fan of the "polar vortex" we have been experiencing, but the snow this winter is stunning. You must get out there...

I love trees in the snow particularly when the snow is literally pouring down! I shot both of these during one of our crazy snow storms. Luckily, my camera survived despite getting complete drenched! Yeah Canon!
