Happy Birthday Grace!

Happy Birthday to YOU, Grace!!

I can't believe you're now officially a teenager!! Wishing you loads of fun on your birthday!

I know you don't really need any advice on how to survive those teenage years. After all, when you were 10, you gave your older sister such great tips for her 13th birthday.  In case you have forgotten, here is what you said three years ago...

On second thought maybe that was more like a standup comedy routine than sage words of wisdom. I couldn't keep the video camera steady, I was laughing so hard. Maybe we do need to intervene...

Hope you have a very happy day, and my advice is:

"Always leave with the horse you rode in on..." Think about it and if you can't figure it out, go eat some cake. You'll work it out tomorrow. ;)

Anyone else want to share a few pearls, join in on the birthday wishes or lob in some comedy? Even if it's Happy Birthday from the bathtub (Quinn!!)...

  1. Happy Birthday Grace! congrats on joining us teenagers, and you'll definitely make a good one. i guess my only advice would be to just keep doing what you're doing, work hard, and play hard, and you'll be fine.

In the meantime, just remember that life is always full of peaks and valleys and may you have more peaks than valleys! Love using a mountain image since you live in Denver. Lots of love from all the Courtemanches.....your Jersey cousins!

  8. Hi beautiful girl, Mom here. Happy Birthday! Best of luck in your teenage years, it will be an adventure for all of us. You know what they say, "Adolescence is a period of rapid changes. Between the ages of 12 and 17, for example, a parent ages as much as 20 years". You know what else they say? Families are like fudge - mostly sweet with a few nuts. Hmmmm, who are the nuts?
    Lots of love, Mom

May the sun always shine on your window pane.
May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain.
