Lake Squirrels

Once upon a time it was a beautiful sunny day 
at a lake in the Adirondacks.
 A perfect day to go fishin'...
for dinner...
Everyone has a right to eat...
Is that a red squirrel swimming in the MIDDLE of the lake?



Look at that! That eagle has seen it too!
Whoa!!! Holy Cow!! What's that???
So much for dinner...
It's never a bad day in heaven...

    Are you sure that was a red squirrel in the water? I thought maybe the handsome young men and the majestic eagle just got "skunked" again!

    Not unless it was Halloween and the skunk was wearing a squirrel costume...But it wasn't Halloween, so that can't possibly be it! Skunks are very proper about their holidays...
