Jack, the Granddog

Thank you to Jack and Linda for a spectacularly fun photoshoot! Jack is a yellow lab and is Linda's granddog. He couldn't be more sweet tempered and more enthusiastic if he tried! You can almost hear him speak with those beautiful brown eyes and white-tipped tail...

"I have a ball; do you have one too?"
"Okay, I will rest for one second...and then can we get back to playing ball?"

"WHOOOHOOO!!"

"You are the most interesting person...I am just pawty in your hands..."
"I adore you, Gram. Sigh..."

Xray Flight

A great white egret in Oyster Bay Cove. Check out how the sun gives an in-flight xray of the bones in his feathers...

Harbour Island Hounds

A few hounds I found on Harbour Island. The puppy at the top was so hot that he splayed (is that a word?) his entire body on some cool sand in the shade of downtown Dunmore. The middle pup hangs out at India Hicks' store...and the last one...well, he is one tough beachcomber. Actually, I think his owner was tougher than he was. I had to take that shot VERY quickly!!

Tudie's Roses

My great grandmother, Tudie, had beautiful roses. So much so, that her rose garden in Quissett, Massachusetts (on Cape Cod) was often open to the public. When she died, her roses were given away to whomever wanted them. I have two of them. They survived my move and a lengthy transplanting process. I have no idea what the name of this rose is, but it is lovely and apparently very healthy...
