One of my transplanted peonies! They are coming up! They actually survived the move, the long wait before planting and their new environment!! I am told that it may take a couple of years to see flowers. I don't care. This works for me just fine for now.

Out of the Ashes...
Hurricane Sandy devastated my little woods.
There are mountains of huge fallen trees...
Somehow daffodils have found a way up and
out of the ground and around the piles!
When I shot this, I wedged myself in between tree logs,
amongst the sticks and the dirt!
My little woodland garden is going to be just fine.

You Au Naturel
I couldn't resist using this title for this post. Read on to see why it makes sense.
I have been dying to continue working on this project. I would like to create a body of work that showcases people just being...in their own favorite environment and possibly doing their favorite things.
My only rule is: Absolutely NO posing whatsoever. It means hanging out with people, spending time with them--so much so that they forget about the camera. In fact they don't even have to look at the camera; I just want them being themselves. Completely natural or au naturel--except with clothes on!

So if someone were to ask you what is your favorite place and what do you really love to do or what is "so you", how would you answer?

Great Blue...
Heron. Of course there is no mystery as to why this bird has this name.
Isn't the blue amazing?
I love this particular wing formation in flight. The wings and legs look
like a very fancy parasol!!

The Dance
Do you think this gull is taking off, landing, or just hopping around?
To me, it looks like we have a front row seat at The Bird Ballet...
What do you think?
